This moving exhibit was created inside a Curtiss C-46 Commando aircraft, brought from Alaska in a special operation by the Council for Conservation of Heritage Sites in Israel, and installed in the defunct British detention camp in Atlit (now a museum).

An impressive animated production envelops visitors as they enter the body of the plane, and view the amazing story of the heroic clandestine rescue of 100 Iraqi Jews in 1947, in an identical aircraft.

Direction, scripting and animation: Dudu Shalita
Producer: Zarchi Vilnai
